Museums and Historical Tours

Want to learn more about this historically rich country? Want to spend more quality time with your family? You can do both of these with a visit to Northern Ireland’s museums.

The museums in Northern Ireland offer a vast range of diversity. Here you can learn about the Troubles, Northern Ireland’s contribution to World War One, the Home Rule Crisis, the story of the Titanic, living in Ireland in the 18th and 19th century, the history of public transport, Norman Castles, and much more.

Some of the museums in this country are literally brought to life. The Ulster American Folk Park and the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum allows visitors to walk through a village and countryside which is replica of an old 18th and 19th century village in Northern Ireland.

You can also relive the story of the Titanic at the Titanic Quarter were it takes you through the period when the 'unsinkable' ship was constructed, launched and had its tragic end. You will also be able to learn about the Titanic’s sister ships and take a tour of the ‘Titanic’s little sister’, the S.S. Nomadic.

These are only a few of the historic attractions available at Northern Ireland. Scroll down and learn more about what this historically rich country has to offer.
