A detour to Glenariff Forest Park

Glenariff Forest Park is located just off the Causeway Coastal Route and is surrounded by beautiful scenery. If you plan to drive through the Causeway Coastal Route, the forest park is well worth the short detour. On your way you will drive through the famous Glenariff valley, which contains excellent views of the Atlantic Ocean and surrounding area. There are two entrances to the park. Both are very nice in their own ways. The top entrance contains stunning views and a camping site. The bottom contains a restaurant along with a walkway in which you are quickly surrounded by a small river, enchanting forest and a gorgeous waterfall with a backdrop that is ideal for photographs. Glenariff Forest Park is an ideal place to visit for couples, families and ones who are interested in beautiful scenery, walking and keeping in shape. There are several walking routes, some long and some short, so there is something to suit everyone.
