Somme Heritage Centre - About

If you have an interest in World War One then the place to visit is the Somme Heritage Centre.

This Museum provides information about Ireland’s role in the First World War, recruiting and training of men, Home Rule crisis, and life in the trenches.

What’s interesting about the Somme Heritage Centre is that it has reconstructed the trenches and the living conditions of the soldiers, so anyone who visits gets a real idea of what it was like to live through or be a soldier during the Great War.
